VitalMetrics is built with privacy at its core. All calculations are performed directly in your web browser using JavaScript. Your health data never leaves your device, is never transmitted to our servers, and is never stored in any database. This means your personal health information remains completely private and under your control.
What We Don't Collect
Unlike most websites, VitalMetrics is committed to collecting as little information as possible. Here's what we explicitly DO NOT collect:
Personal Information: We don't collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information. No account registration is required or even available.
Health Data: Your weight, height, age, pregnancy dates, body measurements, and all other health-related inputs are processed entirely in your browser and never reach our servers.
IP Addresses: We do not log or track IP addresses associated with your visits or calculations.
Calculation History on Servers: Your calculation history is stored only in your browser's local storage, not on any server. We cannot see or access this information.
Tracking Cookies: We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party cookies for user profiling or behavioral tracking.
Local Storage
VitalMetrics uses your browser's local storage feature to save your recent calculations. This allows you to easily access and review your calculation history without needing to create an account.
Important: This data is stored only on your device. We cannot access it, and it is not synchronized across devices or backed up to any server.
What's stored locally:
- •Your recent calculation inputs (height, weight, etc.)
- •Calculation results (BMI scores, calorie estimates, etc.)
- •Unit preferences (metric vs. imperial)
- •Timestamps of when calculations were performed
You have full control: You can clear your calculation history at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or using your browser's "Clear browsing data" feature. This data will also be automatically deleted if you clear your browser cache.
Third-Party Services
Plausible Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service that:

- •Does NOT track you across websites
- •Provides only aggregated, anonymous statistics (page views, referrers)
- •Is GDPR, CCPA, and PECR compliant
Vercel Hosting
Our website is hosted on Vercel's infrastructure. Vercel may collect aggregated, anonymized data about page loads and performance metrics to ensure reliable service delivery. No Tracking or Advertising
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking or advertising services. Your browsing behavior on VitalMetrics is not tracked, profiled, or shared with advertisers.
Your Privacy Rights
Since we don't collect or store any personal or health data on our servers, there's nothing for us to access, modify, or delete. You maintain complete control over any data stored locally in your browser.
Right to Clear Data: You can clear all locally stored calculation history at any time through your browser settings.
No Account, No Data Requests: Since we don't require accounts or store user data, there's no need to request data access or deletion from us.
Complete Privacy by Default: Your privacy is built into our architecture, not managed through settings or opt-outs.
Data Security
The best way to protect your data is not to collect it in the first place. Since all calculations happen client-side in your browser:
There are no databases to hack or breach
Your health data cannot be intercepted during transmission because it's never transmitted
We use HTTPS encryption to ensure secure communication between your browser and our servers
All code runs in your browser's secure sandbox environment
Children's Privacy
VitalMetrics does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Our calculators are designed for adult use. Parents and guardians should supervise children's use of health calculators and consult healthcare providers for children's health metrics. Since we don't collect any data, there is no risk of children's personal information being stored or shared.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Any significant changes will be noted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
